A safe home provides stability, but genuine community creates belonging. As the Tenant and Community Partnerships Officer, you'll help bring people together, strengthen tenant voices and create opportunities for meaningful connection across a growing housing portfolio.
Working within a values-driven organisation, you'll design and coordinate initiatives that transform housing from simply a place to live into a place where people feel supported, included and part of something bigger. Through thoughtful engagement and strong partnerships, you'll contribute to positive outcomes for tenants and the wider community.
Community is a key pillar of the organisation's future growth strategy, making this an exciting opportunity to shape and influence a role that will continue to evolve.
This is a highly relational position where you'll build strong connections with tenants, community organisations, local service providers and stakeholders. From coordinating tenant events and engagement activities to developing communications, gathering feedback and supporting community activation initiatives, you'll help create environments where people feel welcomed, connected and empowered.
Importantly, success isn't measured by the number of activities delivered. It's about creating meaningful opportunities that respond to tenant needs and encourage genuine participation.



Whether facilitating consultation, supporting membership initiatives or strengthening community partnerships, your focus will be on quality outcomes and lasting impact.
With an understanding of community housing, you'll bring experience in community engagement, tenant participation, community development or a related field, along with a genuine ability to build trusted relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the confidence to work autonomously will be essential, together with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach that sees you engaging openly with colleagues, sharing insights and contributing to positive outcomes for tenants and the broader community.
Most importantly, you'll be approachable, proactive and genuinely interested in people. You'll enjoy working collaboratively, asking questions, learning from others and contributing positively to a close-knit and supportive team.
