Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Electricians for an ongoing opportunity based in Newman, WA.

This is a outstanding opportunity for qualified Electricians looking for a competitive rate and a consistent FIFO roster within the mining industry.

The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across the site while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.

Key duties include:

- Electrical maintenance and repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Inspection, testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Working safely in a mining workplace
- Following site procedures, permits and safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with other trades and site personnel

- Roster: 8:6 or 7:7
- Pay Rate: $84.35 per hour
- Mining environment
- FIFO arrangements to be confirmed

About You
To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current WA Electrical Licence
- Previous mining or heavy industrial experience
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work FIFO and on a 7:7 or 8:6 roster
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Full Australian working rights
