About the role

Kids and Cubs Clinic is seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team in Balmain, NSW for a full-time or part-time role. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based and family-centred assessment and intervention services to our paediatric clients.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, or communication concerns in children
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to help clients achieve their communication goals
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
- Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Maintain detailed client records and documentation
- Outreach to local community childcares or schools to provide preventative care, health promotion and early intervention
- Support the development of intervention programs at Kids and Cubs Clinic

About you

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families and other healthcare professionals
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
