State Sales Manager – QLD North Lead a High‑Performing GP Team | Diabetes & Obesity Portfolio | Major Product Launches Ahead A rare senior leadership role is now available for an agile, commercially sharp State Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing GP sales team across Brisbane North, Brisbane West and the Sunshine Coast. Suited to a dynamic pharmaceutical leader who thrives in competitive therapy areas, brings strong coaching discipline, and can accelerate performance during a period of significant growth and upcoming product launches.

You’ll shape strategy, elevate capability and drive commercial outcomes across a chronic disease portfolio that continues to transform patient care in diabetes and obesity.

About the Role As the State Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of GP Representatives, ensuring they are motivated, skilled and aligned to regional and national priorities. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners, influencing how the portfolio is positioned across QLD North while navigating a fast‑moving competitive landscape.

Driving Performance & Commercial Impact You’ll set clear expectations, sharpen execution and ensure consistent delivery against regional targets. Your leadership focuses on diagnosing opportunities, removing barriers and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to accelerate growth.

Developing People & Building Capability You’ll coach with intent, build confidence and lift capability through structured feedback,

Planning, Organising & Executing You’ll run purposeful team meetings, impactful coaching days and capability‑building sessions. You’ll manage recruitment activities and ensure the team remains aligned, organised and future‑ready.

Communication That Drives Alignment You’ll keep your team connected to strategy, priorities and market realities — communicating clearly, sharing insights and providing timely updates to senior leaders.

Essential Requirements You’re a proven pharmaceutical sales leader with:

- Demonstrated success managing field‑based teams

- Strong territory/portfolio management skills
- Financial and budgeting acumen
- Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
