Join the Supply team as a Part-Time Supply Officer, where you will play an important role in ensuring our clinical and non-clinical teams have the supplies they need to deliver high-quality patient care across our hospital network.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hospital's supply function, from receiving and storing stock through to inventory management, distribution and resolving supply-related enquiries.

About You

You are organised, reliable and detail-focused, with a practical approach to managing stock and supporting a busy healthcare environment. You enjoy working as part of a team, are confident using computer systems and take pride in maintaining accurate inventory and efficient supply processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and process deliveries, including unloading, inspecting and accurately recording goods within the relevant systems
- Store and organise supplies appropriately, including maintaining temperature-controlled storage requirements where applicable
- Rotate stock to maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimise spoilage or wastage
- Distribute supplies to hospital departments and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
- Monitor and manage inventory using computer systems, including SAP




- Identify stock discrepancies and take appropriate action to maintain accurate inventory records
- Place orders to replenish stock and support ongoing supply requirements
- Follow up and expedite back orders for items that are temporarily unavailable
- Respond to supply-related enquiries from hospital staff and escalate complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders
- Follow safe manual handling, storage and workplace practices and comply with relevant policies and guidelines
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and appropriately, where required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe supply environment
- Work collaboratively with Supply team members and healthcare professionals across the hospital

You Will Also Bring

- Previous experience in supply, warehousing, inventory or a similar environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy when receiving, recording and managing stock
- Confidence using computerised inventory systems, with SAP experience highly regarded
- Ability to safely handle, store and distribute a range of supplies
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment, where applicable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond to enquiries and resolve supply-related issues effectively
- A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety and compliance with relevant procedures

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $30.59–$32.94 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD Support Services Level 2).

Additional Information

- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
