Salesforce Developer (Onsite – Melbourne | Gaming & Gambling Industry Client)

As a Developer you will be responsible for the delivery of technology solutions to clients in both project and managed service/support engagements.
n
Work Setup:

Onsite (5x/week)

You will be a reliable source of information for each of the teams, with a curious mind, a desire to learn and excellent relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Translating business needs into technical requirements, and actively participating in the design and prototyping of solutions to meet business goals.
n
- Independently developing and implementing high-quality Salesforce solutions, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
n
- Ensures designs are scalable and maintainable.
n
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
n
- Actively participates in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and contributing to the team's overall code quality.
n
- Developing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the correctness and reliability of solutions.
n
- Implementing best practices for data validation, sanitization, and access control to maintain data integrity and prevent security vulnerabilities.
n
- Working closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
n
- Clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical users.
n
- Regularly reviewing and refactoring code to enhance readability, performance, and scalability.
n
- Staying up-to-date with Salesforce advancements and incorporating new best practices as appropriate.
n
- Maintaining thorough documentation for all codebases, ensuring future developers can easily understand and modify the solutions.
n
- Managing and optimizing deployment pipelines for their own projects, utilizing CI/CD tools and practices to streamline deployment workflows.
n
- Providing ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization for deployed solutions.
n
- Promptly addressing issues, optimizing performance, and implementing enhancements as needed during Hypercare.
n
n
Minimum Qualifications:
n
n
- 3–5 years' experience as a Salesforce Developer or similar role.
n
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration tools.
n
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and system design.
n
- Experience building and maintaining unit and integration tests.
n
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data management, and best practices.
n
- Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes across Salesforce environments.
n
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
n
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
n
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Experience supporting production releases and Hypercare activities.
n
n
Preferred Qualifications:
n
n
- Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery environments.
n
- Exposure to Salesforce architecture and scalable solution design principles.
n
- Experience with performance tuning and code refactoring in enterprise environments.
n
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.

- , Azure DevOps, Git-based workflows, Jenkins).

- Experience working across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, or Industry Clouds).

- Exposure to Managed Services or ongoing application support environments.

- Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
