Teaching Service Position Information Ingleburn High School is a co-educational comprehensive high school in South Western Sydney which services the needs and aspirations of a diverse and growing multi-cultural urban population. The school enrolment is currently at 800, including 71 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 45% of the school population being from a Non English speaking background. The school’s support unit currently consists of 7 classes and will move to 9 in 2027.

The school is committed to continually improving effective classroom practices with staff professional learning being the key to ensuring this. This learning ensures that both literacy and numeracy levels can be enhanced through improved data analysis and used to support student learning.

Ingleburn High

Specific Selection Criteria 1. Approval to teach Careers or currently enrolled in the Careers Advisor qualification approved by the NSW Department of Education

- Demonstrated experience with data driven engagement and transition programs that provide diverse learning opportunities for students
- Proven capacity to create and deliver career, NESA and VET programs that cater for all students including those from EAL/D and low SES backgrounds
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with school community, key stakeholders, external agencies and training providers

Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
