Teaching Service Position Information Anzac Park Public School is a Kindergarten to Year 6, Comprehensive, Coed Primary School in Cammeray, situated on the Lower North Shore of Sydney. We are proud to be part of a strong public education system and welcome students from all backgrounds and cultures. The school aspires to be outstanding through the purposeful creation of innovative learning environments that promote the development of critical, creative and collaborative life-long learners. The school has an enrolment of 664 students. Of these, 51% of students come from a language background other than English. The school has two multi-categorical inclusive support units and an autism inclusive support unit that provides a specialised setting for students with moderate to high learning and support needs.

Specific Selection Criteria 1. Approval to teach Special Education and/or experience teaching students with Autism, mild and moderate intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbances and complex challenging behaviours,



with a solid commitment to and passion in inclusive education.

2. High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work collaboratively, proactively and professionally with colleagues, parents, carers, school learning and support officers, external providers and the wider community.

3. Highly developed management skills and a demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum through the development and implementation of personalised support plans that caters for diverse learning needs, maximises student growth and fosters high expectations.

4. Demonstrated capacity to build and contribute to a positive school culture and school wide wellbeing practices with the ability to support inclusion, integration and connectedness.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching chance.
