About The Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.
Your Day Will Include
- Welcoming patients and providing friendly, qualified service
- Managing appointments, bookings and patient enquiries
- Answering phones and responding to patient queries
- Processing accounts, Medicare and private health claims
- Supporting Radiologists, Sonographers and Radiographers
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient information
- Liaising with patients, referrers and medical practices
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
- Participating in team meetings, training and ongoing development
About You
We’re looking for people who are:
- Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoy helping others
- Confident communicating with patients and healthcare professionals
- Organised, reliable and able to multitask
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Professional and respectful when handling confidential information
- A team player who is willing to learn and support others
- Previous medical reception or healthcare experience is highly regarded, but we’re also open to candidates with strong customer service and administration experience.
