An established and growing Engineering Consultancy is seeking a Team Lead Structural Engineer to take a key leadership position within its Victorian Buildings team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer who wants to move beyond project delivery and play a genuine role in team leadership, client relationships, technical direction and business growth.

You will work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial building projects, supported by an experienced technical team and strong project pipeline.

The Opportunity: As Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and Mentoring a team of Structural Engineers and Graduates
- Managing the Structural Delivery of commercial and industrial building projects
- Providing Technical Leadership, design review and engineering direction
- Working directly with clients, architects, builders and project stakeholders
- Managing Project Programmes, resources and technical deliverables
- Supporting business development and identifying new project opportunities
- Developing strong, long-term client relationships
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the Victorian structural engineering team

Projects: You will have exposure to a broad range of significant projects, including:

- Commercial developments and office buildings
- Industrial facilities and warehouses
- Logistics and distribution centres




- Mixed-use developments
- Retail and large-scale developments

About You: We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer / Associate-level engineer who is ready to take the next step into a formal team leadership position.

You will ideally have:

- 8+ years' structural engineering experience
- Solid Australian consulting engineering experience
- Proven experience across commercial and/or industrial buildings
- Strong technical design and problem-solving capability
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- A genuine interest in developing people and growing a successful team

Chartered status or working towards CPEng will be highly regarded.
