Our client is a major infrastructure business running a capital program exceeding $1 billion. They're looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to sit inside Asset Management and drive the financial rigour behind that spend.

What you'll be doing:

- Portfolio forecasting across capex and cash
- Owning risk and opportunity tracking, including the project risk register (P50/P90)
- Applying a solid understanding of project lifecycle, estimation process, and estimate maturity
- Managing to a budget envelope — identifying levers, navigating governance and approvals
- Hands-on involvement in month-end close: reviewing transactions for the business unit, informing accruals, feeding group reporting
- Building repeatable, timely reporting and insight for leadership and Exec — and improving it as needs change
- Acting as finance lead on business case development to secure project funding

What you'll bring:

- Proven business partnering experience with Ops/technical teams, ideally in a capital-intensive environment
- Confidence operating across a large, matrixed stakeholder group




- Robust forecasting and financial modelling skills at both project and portfolio level
- Experience with risk register management and P50/P90 concepts
- Comfort being hands-on in month-end processes, not just reviewing outputs
- Business case development experience — you can build the financial case that gets funding approved
- Exposure to regulated network/infrastructure environments and an understanding of the regulatory framework is highly valued, though not essential
