General Description of the position:

To assist the Extended Day Supervisor in providing before and/or after school child care.

Minimum Qualifications:





1. High School diploma or equivalency.
2. Eighteen (18) years of age.
3. Satisfactorily perform the requirements of the position.
4. Emotional and physical stamina to perform duties as required by the designated task except for temporary disability.
5. Ability to deal effectively with student discipline and behavior issues.
6. Ability to work and communicate effectively with children and parents.
7. Ability to work and communicate effectively with other child care staff.
8. Ability to apply correct punctuation, spelling, mathematics and use of English.

Essential Functions:

1. Regular attendance and punctuality.
2. Perform miscellaneous tasks for the Extended Day program including typing, filing, photocopying, and correcting papers.
3. Supervise students during Extended Day.
4. Assist in room set-up.
5. Maintain a neat and safe workplace.
6. Perform other tasks as required.
7. Other duties as assigned.
