We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring casual educators to join our vibrant Outside School Hours Care team.

Based on the grounds of St Joseph’s Primary School, our service provides a welcoming space for up to 59 children before and after school and vacation care. With access to the playground and a focus on creative, engaging play, it’s a place where children love to learn, explore, and connect.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…

- Provide nurturing care and genuine support for children in your care
- Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
- Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
- Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with your team
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
- Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care
- Come to work excited, knowing you’re making a real difference in children’s lives

Job Requirements:

- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — essential for this role
- Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
- Some previous experience in a childcare or OSHC setting is preferred
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
