About the role

As Transport Team Leader, your role is to centrally coordinate the daily schedule of regional client transport demands and effectively and efficiently assign transport resources (personnel namely Transport Officers and vehicles) to meet the collective transport requirements. The position will coordinate the operations of the MATSICHS region client transport services including allocation, client needs and resources including ensuring personnel and vehicles meet the needs of clients to provide support in accessing medical and health services in Brisbane.

Your day to day duties may include:

- Manage the provision of professional, courteous and protected transportation of IUIH clients and medical courier services as required.




- Ensure effective coordination of resources to meet the IUIH transport services in the provision of a coordinated regional transport service.
- Ensure unassigned transport and tasks are allocated in a timely manner to meet transport timeframes and communicate with relevant Practice Managers as required.
- On occasions and as required, assist in operational driver pool to provide emergency and short-term solutions.

- Current Criminal History Check.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
- Current Working with Children’s Check (Qld Blue Card).
- Current Disability Worker Screening Check (Qld Yellow Card).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
