We're seeking a passionate Treatment Facilitator to join our Mirikai Residential Rehabilitation Service in Burleigh Heads.

For more than 50 years, Mirikai has supported people experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges in a safe, structured and therapeutic residential environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll help residents build practical skills, strengthen wellbeing and achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.

This is an prospect to make a genuine difference while working in a respected residential rehabilitation service on the Gold Coast.

About the Role

As a Treatment Facilitator, you will provide counselling, case management, group facilitation and recovery-focused support to people participating in residential alcohol and other drug treatment.

Working closely with residents and the broader clinical team, you'll support individuals throughout their recovery journey,



helping them identify goals, develop healthy coping strategies and create lasting positive change.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver assessments, counselling and case management.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational programs.
- Develop and review treatment and recovery plans.
- Support residents to build life skills, resilience and wellbeing.
- Coordinate referrals and engagement with external services.
- Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive therapeutic community.

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Human Services or a related discipline.
- Experience in counselling, case management or therapeutic support.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and person-centred practice.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience facilitating groups and delivering structured programs.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong administration and documentation skills.
- A current Australian Driver Licence.

- Experience in alcohol and other drug services.
- Experience working within residential treatment or rehabilitation settings.
