Vice President, Private Side Distribution – Capital Markets Group A leading global investment bank is seeking to appoint a Vice President within its Capital Markets franchise to support the continued growth of its private-side distribution capabilities across Australia and New Zealand. This hire reflects sustained transaction activity across leveraged finance, structured lending and broader syndicated loan markets, with the successful candidate playing a key role in strengthening investor engagement and delivering distribution outcomes across the platform.

The role offers significant exposure to primary syndicated loan transactions from mandate through to financial close. Working closely with origination teams, relationship managers and regional distribution colleagues, you will lead investor dialogue, manage syndication and bookrunning processes, provide market intelligence and assist in optimising transaction structures and distribution strategies.

Responsibilities will include investor coverage, pricing and liquidity analysis, preparation of syndication materials, underwriting support, secondary loan sales execution and broader strategic distribution initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:





- 8+ years’ experience in Syndications, Debt Capital Markets, Loan Distribution, or a related Coverage function within a major bank or international financial institution.
- Solid exposure to structured lending products, with experience across leveraged finance, project finance and/or specialised finance viewed favourably.
- Deep understanding of loan markets, investor dynamics and syndicated debt transaction execution.
- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, investors and internal teams.
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
