Warehouse Operator – Event Hire Company

Excel Events is an established event hire company specialising in marquees, temporary structures, flooring, tables, chairs and a wide range of event equipment. We are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team and help keep our warehouse and event operations running efficiently.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping things organised and wants to be part of a professional, rapid-paced team.

The Role

Working alongside our experienced warehouse and event crews, your responsibilities will include:

- Receiving, checking and organising incoming event equipment.
- Picking and preparing orders for upcoming events.
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining an organised, clean and well-presented warehouse.
- Inspecting, cleaning and preparing equipment for hire.
- Assisting with stock control and equipment maintenance.
- Delivering event equipment from the warehouse to event sites when required.
- Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and ensure equipment is ready for each event.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:





- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive lifting.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Organised, practical and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
- A positive team player with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays during busy periods.
- Committed to workplace safety and taking care of equipment.

Previous warehouse, logistics or event hire experience is an advantage, but not essential. Training will be provided for the right applicant.

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
