Welder – Major MSCL Pipeline Project | $70/hr

$70 per hour | DIDO from Perth | 12-Hour Days | Accommodation Provided | Long-Term Opportunities

We are currently seeking experienced Welders to join a major MSCL pipeline upgrade project.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Welders with specialist Innershield / FCAW-S experience to join an experienced pipeline crew working on the welding and installation of 700 OD MSCL pipelines.

With long-term project opportunities available for experienced candidates who meet the requirements, this is an exciting chance to secure ongoing work on a major infrastructure project.

The Project

Working as part of an experienced pipeline crew, you will be responsible for welding and installation activities associated with the major MSCL pipeline upgrade.

Scope of work includes:

- Welding and installation of 700 OD MSCL pipelines
- Innershield / FCAW-S welding
- Completing full external welds and smaller internal welds
- General welding and pipeline installation duties
- Working safely and efficiently as part of an experienced pipeline team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality

Essential Requirements To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

- Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade (MEM31922)
- Proven Innershield welding experience




- Demonstrated experience welding 700 OD MSCL pipe
- Ability to successfully pass a practical FCAW-S weld test
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- National Police Clearance or ability to obtain
- Australian residency with full working rights

Experience with MSCL pipelines, carbon steel or major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to successfully complete:

- Pre-employment medical
- Drug & Alcohol screening
- Practical FCAW-S weld test
