About this role:

The Yardperson supports workshop operations by maintaining a safe, clean, and organised yard and workshop environment. The position is responsible for the preparation and safe transportation of vehicles, equipment, and materials to various locations and project sites. The Yardperson works closely with workshop personnel to conduct general labouring tasks and support the efficient operation of the workshop. The role will be based out of our modern workshop facility in Cardup.

What your day will look like:

- Maintain a clean, secure and organised yard and workshop.
- Assist with general labouring duties as required.
- Load, unload, move and store equipment and materials safely.
- Clean, detail and prepare vehicles, plant and equipment for operational use.
- Conduct pre-start checks and report maintenance requirements of vehicles.
- Safely transport and deliver vehicles and equipment to various locations.
- Safely operate company vehicles for material and equipment transport.
- Ensure compliance with road rules and company policies.




- Operate forklifts and other equipment.

About you:

- Confident and competent driving skills in metro traffic, peak-hour conditions, and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including regular lifting, carrying, and manual handling tasks (over 15kg).
- Must hold a current and valid WA Drivers Licence – Open “C” Class – automatic and manual.
