The Opportunity An chance is available to join a supportive team of Youth Workers who assist me in my daily life. My team provide 2:1 supports and play an important role in helping me feel safe, valued, and connected.

I enjoy spending time at the library, playing video games, shopping, and engaging in activities that help me feel grounded and supported. These moments are important to my wellbeing and sense of connection.

I am looking for a Youth Worker to join my team who is kind, patient, and comfortable working in a team enviroment. Someone who enjoys laughter, creativity, and shared interests would be a great fit. If you enjoy gaming, exploring books, or creating imaginative play with toy cars, you’ll feel right at home.

Enthusiasm, cultural understanding, and the ability to build respectful relationships are key to this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care to young people in a residential setting

- Provide direct day to day support to young people in the program

- Contribute to a safe, structured,



and nurturing enviroment that meets developmental needs

- Understand and respond to the impacts of trauma on children and young people

- Implement therapeutic and trauma informed practices that support attachment and wellbeing

- Support education, life skills, social and recreational development

- Undertake case related tasks in line with individual support plans

- Liaise with schools, government departments, and external services as required

- Complete documentation and administrative tasks accurately

- Assist with shared household responsibilities including cooking, shopping, cleaning, and general upkeep

Shifts

We are recruiting for Part Time positions. Shifts may include, but are not limited to:

- 6:15am – 2:30pm

- 2:15pm – 11:30pm

- 10:15pm – 6:30am

About You

You are creative, calm, and positive, with a respectful and confident approach. You value relationships and understand the importance of role modelling everyday life skills. I appreciate gentle prompting and encouragement around routines and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and meal preparation.
