The Role
This role is about much more than completing tasks. It's about creating a positive start to the day, reducing anxiety through consistency and helping someone feel informed, supported and confident.
You'll support a customer to:
• Complete personal care, showering and continence routines
• Receive medication support in line with training and support plans
• Maintain a clean and comfortable home by assisting with domestic duties
• Use a visual schedule to understand appointments and daily activities
• Manage anxiety through calm reassurance and predictable routines
• Maintain choice, dignity and independence
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
Calm, patient and easy to understand
Gentle and reassuring in their approach
Comfortable repeating conversations without frustration
Observant and proactive
Professional and respectful
Confident following support plans and medication procedures
Comfortable providing personal care and household support
Reliable and accountable
Focused on dignity, choice and independence
Experience in disability support, home care, personal care, acquired brain injury, medication administration or continence support will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements
Current Driver Licence
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Australian Working Rights
Experience or capability providing personal care and household support
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
Ability to complete accurate records and report health concerns
Commitment to privacy, dignity and professional boundaries
