We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Provincial Restaurant in Geraldton, WA. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of front-of-house and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall profitability.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of food and service, ensuring that all guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
- Train and mentor staff on customer service, menu knowledge, and company policies and procedures.
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized restaurant.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and cost control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $78,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
