We're looking for a passionate and professional Front of House team member to join us at Havilah - a vibrant wine bar and private dining venue built on great food, thoughtful service, and strong community connections.

The role is minimum 25 hours per week up to full time salary depending on the needs or skillset of the successful applicant

This is an ideal role for someone who brings energy, warmth, and detail-focused care to service, and who thrives in a small, team-oriented team. You’ll be involved in everything from wine service and casual dining to supporting events and tastings.
For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility.
About the Role

Deliver warm, welcoming service during dinner and drinks service at Havilah
Support the smooth running of FOH operations, including setup, hosting, and end-of-night duties
Build genuine rapport with regular guests and the local community
Work occasional private dining or event shifts, assisting the events lead as needed




Be proud of your presentation and role in shaping the Havilah guest experience
Work confidently both independently and within a tight-knit team
Assist with menu updates (Canva), cleanliness, and maintaining a high standard of venue presentation
Help with tastings, photoshoots, and general duties as required

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ FOH experience in a wine bar, cafe, bistro, or similar hospitality venue
Wine knowledge is not a pre-requisite - but must be willing to learn on the job
Cocktail service experience handy, but not required
A genuine love of food and local sourcing
A welcoming personality and natural hosting presence
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a small, high-functioning team
Excellent communication and initiative — someone who actively seeks feedback and growth
Detail-oriented with a sense of pride and professionalism
Experience with event service is a bonus, but not essential
