The Opportunity

n

Our client is a property leader managing some of Australia's most prestigious commercial assets. An opportunity has arisen for a technically oriented Facilities Manager, or an experienced Facilities Coordinator looking to step up, to take ownership of operations within one of Melbourne's most exciting and innovative mixed-use precincts.

n

This is far more than a traditional facilities role. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional building performance, managing critical services and compliance, leading contractor relationships, driving sustainability initiatives and partnering with a broad range of stakeholders across a highly visible and complex asset. Communication will be vital in this role, engaging with a mixture of internal and external stakeholders and service delivery partners! Working closely with the wider property team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the precinct continues to operate at the highest standard and level of presentation while supporting future growth and innovation!

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead the day-to-day operation of a premium mixed-use asset
n




- Manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs across base building services
n
- Oversee multiple service contractors and delivery partners, ensure contractual performance standards are met
n
- Drive compliance across essential services, fire safety, WHS and statutory obligations
n
- Conduct building inspections, risk assessments and operational audits
n
- On-going maintenance of the CMMS system and other information databases for relevant documentation management, evidence proofing.
n
- Co-ordinating of contractors for base building and tenant fitouts/makegoods, including onsite supervision and project management, approval of tenancy works and more.
n
- Contribute to operational and capital expenditure budgets, forecasting and reporting
n
- Support sustainability initiatives, ESG reporting and energy efficiency programsBuild strong relationships with tenants, contractors, ownership groups and internal stakeholder.

About You

n

We're seeking an experienced, technical facilities operations professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and building strong stakeholder relationships.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Experience managing operations within premium commercial, mixed-use, health,



education or complex built environments
n
- Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance delivery and contractor management
n
- Demonstrated experience in compliance, risk management and WHS
n
- Exposure to budget management, reporting and capital works delivery
n
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
n
- Trade qualifications, facilities management qualifications or a related tertiary qualification will be highly regarded
n
- This will be a perfect role for a facilities coordinator looking to step up into a role, or an experienced operator!
