We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Officer to work alongside the Business Manager to support the delivery of responsive and effective human resource services across the College.

The role will coordinate and administer a range of human resource processes and procedures, including staff movements, and provide timely support to staff regarding employee entitlements and HR-related enquiries. Working across our multi-campus environment, the successful applicant will play an important role in supporting consistent, accurate and productive HR processes across the College.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity until March 2027, unless otherwise determined.

Your Opportunity

As the Human Resources Officer, your responsibilities include but not limited to:
n

- Contribute to the development and implementation of human resource operational strategies,
processes and systems to enable the efficient and effective provision of client focused services.
n
- Assist the Business Manager with the supervision of support staff.
n
- Coordinate and administer, effective and efficient human resource processes and functions which may include:n n
- Managing the ADO and timesheet system for support staff.
n
- Providing support with recruitment and induction training of school support staff.
n
- Providing assistance to staff on employment conditions, pay and leave, MyHR, contracts and claims.
n
n
- Review local human resource systems and provide recommendations for enhancement.
n
- Monitor service delivery to identify efficiencies and ensure compliance with government and departmental legislation, directives, policies and standards.
n
- Provide operational support and advice on a range of human resource matters to enable informed decision making.
n
