Geronimo Advisory is growing, and we're looking for an experienced consultant to join our Sydney team.

n

We are seeking an experienced building services and building performance professional who is passionate about improving the performance, sustainability and value of existing buildings.

n

This is an exciting opportunity to join Geronimo Advisory, an independent building performance and sustainability consultancy working with leading property owners, asset managers, investors and facilities teams across Australia.

n

About the role

n

As a principal, you will play a key role in growing our Sydney business, leading client relationships and delivering high value building performance outcomes.

n

We are particularly interested in someone with:

n

n
- 10+ years' experience in building services, with a strong preference for Mechanical Engineering experience
n
- Demonstrated experience in existing building performance, energy & water efficiency and sustainability
n
- Strong understanding of building services systems and how they influence building performance
n
- Experience working with commercial property owners, asset managers, investors, facilities managers and property managers
n
- An established industry network and client relationships across the Sydney property sector
n
- Ability to work and deliver independently
n
- Experience identifying and delivering energy, carbon, water and operational improvement opportunities
n
- Solid commercial, consulting and project management skills
n




- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
n
- The ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships and contribute to business growth
n

What you'll do

n

You will have the opportunity to:

n

n
- Lead building performance and sustainability projects across existing buildings
n
- Work directly with property owners, asset managers and investment teams
n
- Develop and maintain senior client relationships
n
- Identify building optimisation, energy efficiency, electrification and renewable energy opportunities
n
- Lead Net Zero Transition and broader building performance initiatives including performance certifications such as NABERS, Green Star Performance, GRESB
n
- Provide strategic advice that delivers measurable operational, financial and environmental outcomes
n
- Help grow Geronimo Advisory's Sydney presence and client base
n
- Collaborate with our Principals and technical specialists across Melbourne and Perth as well as work and deliver independently
n
- Hybrid working with minimum of 3 days in Office
n
