33 Creative is a proudly Aboriginal owned media and events agency that works to change hearts and minds, and empower communities, through storytelling and effective communications.

The role
n
A key member of our team, you will develop and deliver impactful engagement and communications initiatives across; campaigns, projects and events that empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, foster meaningful participation and create positive, lasting outcomes.
n
We offer flexibility around the timing of days worked and spread of hours.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Plan and deliver culturally responsive community and stakeholder engagement across metropolitan, regional, rural and remote locations.
n
- Build and maintain respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, organisations, leaders and stakeholders.
n
- Collaborate with community members, stakeholders, clients, and creative teams to ensure lived experience and community insights shape outcomes.
n
- Stakeholder mapping and development of engagement plans.
n
- Capture and analyse feedback and community insights.
n
- Coordinate and develop compelling content across digital, social, media and stakeholder channels.
n
- Project management, reporting and evaluation.
n
n
Your success profile will include:
n
n
- Experience in a similar role
n
- Relevant degree in Social Impact, Business, Communications or Marketing
n
- Significant experience in community engagement, communications, Indigenous affairs, social impact or public affairs
n
- Demonstrated experience working respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations
n
- Knowledge of culturally safe and inclusive engagement practices
n
- Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander governance structures, community protocols and ways of working
n
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team environment
n
- Outstanding written, verbal and digital communication skills
n
- Strong project management and organisational skills
n
- Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
n
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
n
- Eligibility to work in Australia on a permanent basis
n
- Ability to work outside of standard hours and travel as required
