The Intake Support Officer provides administrative support to the Child Protection Conferencing Unit (CPCU).
n The unit delivers high-quality dispute resolution services state-wide to parties involved in contested child protection proceedings in accordance with the Dispute Resolution Centres Act 1990 and Child Protection Act 1999.

Your Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Provide confidential and accurate administrative support to the CPCU team including opening and closing files, data entry, filing, processing forms, sending letters and requests for information.
n
- Accurate data entry to record outcomes, dispute types and complete pays for sessional staff
n
- Liaise and schedule telephone appointments with correctional facilities
n
- Answer phone calls in a professional manner and provide information about the operation of CPCU and the services provided by the Dispute Resolution Branch (DRB) to the public and others
n
- Manage telephone messages and email enquiries to the CPCU.
n
- Quickly develop knowledge of the Dispute Resolution Centres Act 1990 and Child Protection Act 1999 and other relevant policies and legislation.
n
- Assist in the organisation / scheduling of court ordered conferences, facilitations, meetings, functions and special events as required
n
- Maintain and operate computer-based word processing,
spreadsheets and databases
n
- Analyse monthly spread sheets and statistical information as required
n
- Participate productively and cooperatively as a member of the team.
n
- Other tasks as allocated by the Manager or Case Coordinator by delegation
n

- Enter data with a high degree of accuracy and provide analysis of statistical data.
