Wynnum Baptist Church is looking for a Youth Worker or Youth Pastor to join our team as we seek to Love God, Love People and Make Disciples Together.

We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, connects well with young people and is passionate about developing people and building healthy ministry teams.

- The role includes:
n
- Leadership and pastoral oversight of our Youth Ministry.
n
- Leading, encouraging and developing the team who run our Friday night youth program.
n
- Oversight and support of our Sunday youth programs.
n
- Building relationships with young people and helping them grow as disciples of Jesus.
n
- Recruiting, equipping and developing youth leaders and volunteers.
n
- Pastoral oversight of our Young Adults Ministry,



with a focus on developing and supporting a team of leaders.
n
- Contributing to the wider life of the church according to gifting, passion and availability.
n

The successful applicant will join an existing pastoral and ministry team. The position is part time (2-3 days per week with some flexibility in hours and responsibilities. The position can be structured as either a Youth Worker or Youth Pastor depending on experience, training and fit and can commence in late 2026 or early 2027 depending on availability.
