We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Account Coordinator – Partner Services, Oceania reporting to the Account Manager based in our Melbourne, Australia office.

The Chance:

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to build a career in sports partnerships and event delivery with one of the world’s leading mass participation event organisations.

Working closely with the Partnerships Account Manager and the wider Partner Services team, you will help deliver contractual benefits for a diverse portfolio of commercial and government partners across The IRONMAN Group’s events in Oceania. You will coordinate digital content, branding plans, partner reporting and event-related deliverables, collaborating with internal teams including Marketing, Operations and Event Services to ensure partnerships are delivered accurately, professionally and on time.

The role combines office-based coordination with hands-on event experience. You will have the opportunity to develop practical skills across partnership servicing, stakeholder communication, digital content delivery, branding, reporting and onsite activation support. This position would suit an organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working collaboratively, managing multiple deadlines and contributing to memorable partner and participant experiences.

Responsibilities & Duties:





- Assist the Partnerships Account Manager to fulfil IRONMAN’s contractual obligations to partners for assigned events.
- Manage all digital deliverables for Partners, key focus on websites, apps, e-newsletters and social media platforms with online partner content.
- Manage all branding plans and post event report templates for the Partnerships Team.
- Collaborate with other internal departments (Operations; Event Services; Marketing departments etc.) to manage key deliverables within partner agreements, maximising partnership opportunities at the events.
- Assist the Partnerships Account Manager to maintain regular contact with partners in order to monitor and review contractual benefits and milestones and to identify any areas for concern in advance.
- Support the Expo Manager with administrative tasks and on site at required events.
- Support and perform other tasks for the Partnerships team as required and requested.
- Assist Partnership Lead on site at required events.

Qualifications/Experience:

Essential

- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business, sport management, event management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience in an administrative, account coordination, marketing, partnerships, customer service or event support role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders concurrently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating professionally with internal teams, partners and suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams while also taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to follow up outstanding information and escalate potential issues early.
- Competency using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work outside standard office hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays,



when supporting assigned events.
- Current full driver licence.
- Current passport, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Desirable
- Experience within sports, events, sponsorship, partnerships, marketing or account servicing.
- Experience coordinating digital content, social media assets, e-newsletters, websites or partner branding.
- Experience working with client deliverables, contracts, project plans, workback schedules or reporting documents.
- Previous experience working onsite at events, activations, expos or other live environments.
- An interest in sport, mass participation events and delivering positive partner and participant experiences.

Physical & Equipment Requirements:

- Ability to work extended and non-standard hours while attending assigned events, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to travel to event locations throughout Australia, New Zealand and other locations as required.
- Ability to remain standing and move around event and expo sites for extended periods, including during long event days.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions, crowded venues and uneven surfaces.
- Ability to undertake routine event-related manual handling, including bending, reaching, carrying, positioning and packing light event materials, signage, merchandise and equipment.
- Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 20 kilograms, either independently or with assistance where appropriate.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and assist with basic event equipment, tools and vehicles where appropriately trained and authorised.
- Ability to drive between offices, warehouses, event venues and other work locations when required.
