OPPORTUNITY An opportunity exists for an experienced Machinery Salesperson in Victoria to take ownership of a defined Victorian territory, managing key client relationships while developing new business opportunities within the civil and surveying markets. This role combines account management, new business development and technical solution selling, with regular on-site engagement and a requirement to attend the Melbourne office1-2 days per week to support training, collaboration and product integration.

Key Duties

- Manage and grow key accounts across Victoria for machine control and surveying solutions
- Develop new business opportunities within civil construction, infrastructure and surveying markets
- Build long-term relationships with contractors, surveyors and project stakeholders




- Conduct on-site demonstrations, presentations and technical solution discussions
- Engage with decision-makers including Project Managers, Survey Managers, Site Engineers, Owners, Directors and Procurement teams
- Work closely with internal technical, service and support teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Track project pipelines, upcoming tenders and market activity
- Achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and retention

CANDIDATE This position suits a commercially minded sales professional with experience selling capital equipment to construction clientele. Ideally we're seeking someone with:

- Prior experience selling earthmoving machinery such as dozers, graders, wheel loaders, excavators, rollers, compactors, asphalt pavers, conveyor systems or similar
- Background in machine control, guidance systems or surveying solutions (desirable but not essential)
- Strong understanding of the Victorian civil construction and infrastructure market
- Experience managing key accounts and developing new business
- Confidence dealing with technical and operational stakeholders on site
- Self-motivated, organised and results-focused approach
- Willingness to travel across Victoria with periodic office attendance
- Current driver’s licence
