We are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team in the Perth CBD office. Supporting the finance team with accurate and timely financial information with day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and broader finance functions.

To be successful in the role, the following is essential:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting tools
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills
- Robust written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
- National Police clearance

To be eligible to apply for this role you must be legally permitted to work permanently in Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

- Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports
- Support BAS, GST, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Prepare month-end journals,



accruals, and related accounting adjustments
- Assist with maintaining and updating the fixed asset register
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Provide assistance during external audit processes
- Work closely with experienced team members while progressively taking on increased responsibilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting procedures
- Develop and maintain proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Provide ad hoc support across financial accounting functions as required
