Administration Assistant – Allied Health Service Providers
Join a supportive allied health team in a work-from-home, flexible role and make a difference to the client experience.
We are seeking a highly organised, professional and people-focused Administration Assistant to join our allied health team. This is a key role supporting our clinicians, clients and day-to-day operations, and would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy health environment.
About the Role
As our Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and client support to ensure our services run smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include
- Answering emails, phone enquiries, referrals and client questions
- Coordinating client information, documentation and administrative workflows
- Preparing and managing Client Service Agreements
- Allocating services against NDIS budgets and other funding sources
- Following up outstanding payments and funding approvals
- Preparing and issuing weekly invoices
- Uploading, checking and organising reports, progress notes and consent forms
- Supporting clinicians and management with general administration
- Taking minutes at relevant meetings
- Maintaining accurate, confidential client records
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and systems
About You
Previous administration experience is essential.
You will ideally have
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Experience working in a health, allied health or client-service setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database systems
Previous experience working with the NDIS is highly desirable, but not essential. Experience with health-sector administration, client management, invoicing, funding arrangements or service agreements will also be highly regarded.
