About the Role
As an Administration Officer (AO3) – Sexual Health Services, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy, multi-disciplinary community service. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to patients, clinicians, and stakeholders, helping to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. The role would be located 3 days in Lismore Sexual Health Service and 2 days in Tweed Sexual Health Service each week.
This role would suit part-time applicants wanting to work in either Lismore or Tweed, or full time applicants willing to work in both locations.
About You
You are a highly organised and customer-focused administration professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service. With experience in administrative support and clinic coordination, you are confident managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accuracy in a busy healthcare setting.
You possess strong computer skills and are comfortable using a range of software applications and patient management systems. Your excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills enable you to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders alike.
You are adaptable, proactive, and capable of working independently under broad supervision while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience managing medical records, maintaining filing systems,
and supporting specialist outpatient or clinical services will see you thrive in this important role.
What you'll be doing
Provision of timely and efficient administrative support to the North Coast Population and Public Health Directorate’s, Sexual Health and Liver Services which may include administrative support to Staff Specialists within these fields, and in line with current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. Your role will also provide administration support to the team when attending outreach clinics, both from the fixed service and attending outreach clinics as required.
