Join the team at North West Private Hospital as a Permanent Part-Time Administration Officer and provide qualified, efficient administrative support within a busy hospital environment. This role will be based in our Day Rehabilitation and Allied Health Outpatient Clinic.
We have permanent shifts on Thursdays and Fridays and are looking for a candidate with flexibility to pick up additional week day shifts as required.
This is an opportunity to play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the hospital while working alongside a welcoming and collaborative team. You will contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors and colleagues through your strong organisational skills and customer-focused approach.
About You
We are looking for an organised,
reliable and professional administration officer who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the department
- Respond to enquiries from patients, visitors, staff and other stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
- Patient payments & Accounts Management – proficiency with EFTPOS & HICAPS
- Appointment booking, scheduling and clinic availability oversight
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and data
- Assist with correspondence, filing, data entry and general administrative tasks
- Coordinate and prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Follow hospital policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
- Contribute to a positive and professional patient and customer experience
You Will Also Bring
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a healthcare or customer-focused environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Nookal and general computer systems
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach to your work

Additional Information
