Behind this clinical operation stands our Custodial Health Administration Team.

As an Administration Officer, you are not simply processing paperwork; you are the operational anchor connecting patients to essential care. Your data integrity, scheduling diligence, and skilled discretion ensure that medical appointments, diagnostic scans, and hospital transfers run safely, securely, and without delay.

Your Scope and Impact

Working within a dedicated administrative team supporting doctors, nurses, and allied health clinicians, your core responsibilities include:

- Patient Journey Coordination: Organise and schedule clinic appointments, referrals, specialist diagnostic services, admissions,



and discharges across custodial and community care pathways.

- Health Information Management: Accurately update and maintain patient records within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and strict compliance with health privacy standards.

- Frontline Operational Support: Manage clinical documentation, process medical correspondence, and coordinate phone and email enquiries from clinicians, corrections staff, and community health partners.

- Quality & Governance Assurance: Participate in routine audits, data validation, and continuous quality improvement projects to keep health records audit-ready.

- Operational Adaptability: Provide versatile administrative support across diverse operational priorities within a unique, secure healthcare environment.

What You Bring

- Strong Administrative Competence: Demonstrated background in medical reception, clinic administration, health records, or professional data entry.

- Systems Proficiency: Solid capability across the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the capacity to learn specialised clinical databases and electronic medical records quickly.

- Attention to Detail & Discretion: Exceptional record-keeping accuracy combined with a mature understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and information security.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Clear, respectful written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams and partner organisations.

- Adaptability & Availability: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the flexibility to support a 7-day rotating roster.

- Pre-Employment Checks: Satisfactory National Police Record Check, Working with Children Check, and Immunisation Clearance prior to commencement.
