About the role
You'll provide general administrative and operational support across the business, with a particular focus on product information, pricing, spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records. No two days will be exactly the same. You might be updating pricing, working through Excel spreadsheets, maintaining product information, following up suppliers or keeping company records and documents up to date.
You’ll also help maintain our ISO and HSEQ systems by keeping registers and records current, making sure scheduled activities and actions are completed on time, uploading supporting documentation and following up anything that is outstanding. Previous ISO or HSEQ experience isn’t essential, as training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Updating product information, supplier costs and resale pricing.
- Working with Excel spreadsheets, including reviewing, updating and organising data.
- Maintaining supplier, product and business records.
- Assisting with supplier and customer follow-ups.
- Helping maintain company documents, forms and records.
- Assisting with general administration, stock or system checks and other operational tasks as required.
- Maintaining compliance and HSEQ records and scheduled tasks.
About you
- Previous experience in administration, operations support or a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills and previous experience working with spreadsheets.
- Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive approach – if something needs following up, you follow it through.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with pricing, inventory systems or product data would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
