- Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Technician (Residential, Commercial and Industrial) Throughout Sydney

- Flexible On-Call Roster With Remote Capabilities (Most team members don't need to attend site while on call, and can handle jobs remotely from home)

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration equipment using specialist tools and diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide rapid fault resolution to minimise customer downtime
- Conduct system inspections and provide customers with detailed reports and recommendations for repairs or upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices
- Occasional installation will be required
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Collaborate with the team to support training of junior technicians and share technical knowledge
- Keep vehicles and equipment well-maintained and organised for efficient service delivery

What we're looking for

- Trade qualification or certification in refrigeration, air conditioning, or a related cooling systems discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years' hands-on experience in refrigeration service, installation, or maintenance roles
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and testing equipment specific to refrigeration systems




- Solid understanding of electrical principles and mechanical systems as they relate to cooling equipment
- Valid full Australian driving licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with industry developments
- Preferred: Experience with smart refrigeration systems, building management systems (BMS), or energy-effective cooling technologies
