Join Our Team as a Product Application Engineer for Data Center Liquid Cooling!
Are you a technical expert passionate about the future of data center thermal management? We are looking for a dynamic Product Application Engineer to serve as our subject matter expert for cutting-edge liquid cooling solutions.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working with hyperscalers, integrators, and OEMs to implement next-generation cooling technologies. You will be the technical authority on everything from racks and manifolds to cold plates and CDUs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the technical expert for liquid cooling components within data center architectures, including racks, manifolds, cold plates, and coolant distribution units (CDUs).
- Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators, OEMs/ODMs, and CDU manufacturers through regular technical touchpoints and onsite support.
- Manage product qualification activities by defining timelines, driving feasibility and validation testing, coordinating with engineering and operations, and maintaining customer open-item trackers.
- Execute quotation and part activation processes with Sales, including cost and lead-time coordination, CRN assignment, and product setup in Salesforce and SAP, while maintaining accurate technical documentation and revision control in Teamcenter.
- Deliver training, webinars, application notes, and customer-ready technical presentations, while capturing Voice of Customer insights and translating market and engineering trends,
including single- and two-phase cooling, into product development and long-term roadmap inputs
What We're Looking For
- Five or more years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering.
- Experience related to data centers, cooling systems, thermal management, or fluid conveyance is preferred.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements, including flow, pressure, materials, and connection types.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills for technical presentations, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency with engineering, PLM, and commercial systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce is preferred.
