About the role We currently have a few vacancys for full-time Apprentices to join our team. In this role, you will learn how to provide high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service to our loyal client base. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and develop their skills within a reputable and growing organisation.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Expertly cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meat products to meet customer orders and preferences
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, offering product recommendations and sharing cooking tips
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment and work areas adhere to health and safety standards
- Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and general store operations as required
- Participating in continuous learning and development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
About You Along with a strong work ethic and ideally previous experience in a food or customer service position you'll be/have:
- Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident - no sponsorship requests
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a premier shopping experience
- Solid attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A keen interest in the meat industry and a commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the business
