ROLE OUTLINE

n

This is a full‐time, fixed‐term (1 year) position.

n

As an Early Years Teacher, you will create nurturing, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. You will foster the social, emotional, spiritual and academic growth of young learners, while actively contributing to the faith life and Catholic identity of the College.

- Creating a protected, nurturing and engaging learning environment

- Delivering play‐based and developmentally appropriate learning experiences

- Supporting the social, emotional, spiritual and academic development of students

- Building positive relationships with students, families and colleagues

- Encouraging independence, confidence and a love of learning in every child

- Modelling the College's values and actively supporting the Catholic ethos of the College

Requirements For The Role

n

n
- A tertiary teaching qualification, preferably in Early Childhood, and TRBWA registration
n
- A current Working with Children registration
n
- To be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education
n
- To be working towards or have completed the Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School
n
