The Opportunity As an Assistant In Nursing , you will support the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care that considers residents' physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs, enabling them to maintain their wellbeing and independence for as long as possible.
Working closely with the Registered Nurse and broader care team, you will play an important role in supporting residents with daily living activities and ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met with dignity, compassion and respect.

About Aeralife Botany At Aeralife Botany, you'll be part of a stately home that combines vibrant open spaces with timeless elegance. Key Responsibilities
You will
- Support residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
- Assist residents with meals, food and fluid intake in accordance with individual care requirements
- Support nursing staff with treatments and care interventions as directed
- Observe and promptly report any changes in residents' condition, wellbeing or behaviour to the Registered Nurse
- Assist residents to participate in recreational and lifestyle activities in collaboration with the Lifestyle Team
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
- Contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive environment that promotes resident dignity, choice and independence
- Adhere to Aeralife policies,
procedures and infection prevention and control requirements
About You You are a compassionate and motivated care skilled who takes pride in making a genuine difference every day. You enjoy working in a team-focused environment and are committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care aligned with best practice standards.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a Residential Aged Care environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound computer literacy skills
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status (highly recommended)
- Full Australian working rights
- A caring, patient and respectful approach to resident care
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
