About the role

East Geelong Dental Practice is seeking a dedicated Associate Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality dental care to our patients in East Geelong, VIC 3219. As an Associate Dentist, you will work collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver comprehensive dental treatments whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.

This role offers flexibility and the chance to develop your clinical skills in a supportive and modern dental practice environment.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnosing and treating dental conditions including cavities, gum disease and tooth infections
- Performing routine preventative care procedures such as cleanings, fluoride treatments and sealants
- Placing and restoring fillings, crowns and bridges to restore patient dentition
- Providing oral health education and preventative advice to patients
- Taking and interpreting dental radiographs and other diagnostic imaging
- Collaborating with dental hygienists, dental therapists and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a secure clinical environment
- Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting practice objectives

What we're looking for

- A current, unrestricted registration with the Australian Dental Board
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Valid Australian working rights and professional indemnity insurance
- Proven clinical experience in general dentistry practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members
- Commitment to continuing professional development and maintaining clinical competency
- Sound knowledge of dental treatment planning and patient management




- Experience with dental practice management systems and digital technologies
- A patient-centred approach with a focus on quality outcomes and clinical excellence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
