As an Associate Director - Mechanical, you will lead the delivery and growth of a major data centre portfolio across Australia and APAC, driving technical excellence, project performance and client success. You will mentor high-performing engineering teams, oversee complex mechanical designs and play a key role in business development, stakeholder engagement and strategic growth initiatives.

Description

- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering complex data centre projects.
- Oversee mechanical and HVAC design development, technical reviews and quality assurance.
- Drive project delivery, programme performance, risk management and commercial outcomes.
- Coordinate mechanical services with electrical, fire protection and public health disciplines.
- Monitor project financial performance, invoicing and change management processes.
- Act as a senior client interface across key stakeholder and technical meetings.
- Support regional business development,



proposals and client relationship management.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation and engineering excellence across project teams.

Profile A successful Associate Director - Mechanical should have:

- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is essential.
- Proven data centre design and delivery experience is essential.
- Extensive experience leading mechanical engineering teams on complex projects.
- Strong expertise in HVAC systems and multidisciplinary building services design.
- Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, schedules and project risk.
- Strong client-facing skills with experience developing business and stakeholder relationships
