Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.

We are now inviting applications for a Boarding Operations Administrator. Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and support staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to coordinate a diverse range of events, and operational tasks in Boarding.

The role:

- Work during term time only. Monday - Thursday 1:30pm to 7:30pm, and Friday 10:30am - 5:00pm.
- Manage boarding systems, records, databases, permissions, leave processes, and student movement procedures, ensuring compliance, governance, and safeguarding obligations.
- First point of contact for operational matters, and coordinate boarding communications, newsletters, notices, forms, and updates.
- Oversee inventory management and operational resources for the boarding precinct.
- Work with the Boarding Leadership Team to create engaging experiences that strengthen community connection and belonging.
- Coordinate logistics for all events including orientation programs, National Boarding Week, formal dinners, graduation, parent functions, and other community activities.
- Contribute to the boarding environment to ensure they remain safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose.
- Implement procedures that ensure the compliance with the Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA) National Boarding Standards and all relevant legislative requirements.
- In the spirit of continuous improvement, identify and project manage key initiatives,



ensuring that IT solutions are implemented where applicable, and boarding experience is benefitted.

Ideal candidate:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or a senior administrative/operations role
- Proficiency in using productivity tools, office software, and communication platforms.
- Commitment to the objectives, vision, and ethos of Sacred Heart Education
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to exercise judgement, manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume work environment
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
- Confidence in assessing processes and making improvement suggestions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels
- The expertise to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality at all times.
