Join Monadelphous in a casual FIFO role supporting ongoing rolling shutdowns and maintenance across FMG, Rio Tinto and BHP operations. Point of hire is available from any Australian capital city with potential to transition into ongoing project rostered work.
Duties
Cleaning surfaces prior to and after surface preparation to specification.
Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
Use of hand tools, such as: paint brushes; rollers; sanding blocks; wallpaper cutters; trimming knives; and fillers and spatulas.
Applying paints to surfaces using all forms of brushes and roller nap types, using appropriate techniques to minimise drips, runs, and brush marks, and to maintain straight edges.
Ensure all finished coatings have been verified and inspected after coating has been completed
Skills & Experience
Working at Heights and Confined Space certification within 3 years.
Gas Test Atmospheres within 5 years.
Basic Fire certification within 4 years.
White Card and current Australian Driver’s Licence.
Right to work in Australia; FMG, Rio Tinto or BHP inductions highly regarded.
