The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals and community leaders to join several Diocesan Councils and Advisory Boards.

As we continue to strengthen our contemporary governance framework, we are looking to appoint current members who can contribute strategic insight and a commitment to mission-driven leadership.

Our governance model integrates the requirements of both civil and Church law that advances the Diocese's mission, sustainability and service to the community.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with expertise in:

- Governance
- Finance and Banking
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Community Services and Wellbeing
- Education

Vacancies currently exist across the Community and Wellbeing Advisory Board, Catholic Community Fund (CCF)



Advisory Board, Governance Advisory Board and the Education Advisory Board.

Working collaboratively within a synodal framework, board members contribute to governance, oversight and long-term planning while helping to ensure decisions remain aligned with the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
