FIXED PLANT MAINTENANCE BOILERMAKER

Based in Bairnsdale, this role offers a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fabrication and improvement projects across our quarry and fixed plant operations, as well as external work requests.

About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fixed Plant Maintenance Boilermaker to join our team on a full-time basis.
Working across our quarry and fixed plant operations, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and fabricating components to ensure plant reliability and operational efficiency.
No two days are the same, with duties including:
- Preventative maintenance of quarry and fixed plant equipment
- Breakdown diagnosis and repair work to minimise downtime
- Heavy industrial fabrication and welding
- Inspection of plant and equipment to identify maintenance requirements
- Working on a variety of jobs for external customers
- Working closely with operational teams to support production targets
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabricator or equivalent
- Experience in heavy industrial maintenance, fixed plant, quarrying, mining or similar industries
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
- Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- A positive, solution-focused attitude
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A current Manual Driver Licence and White Card
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, police check and be legally entitled to work in Australia
