About the role The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication and welding of structural steel components for a range of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Structural steel fabrication and assembly
- MIG, TIG welding and general welding duties
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
- Measuring, cutting, fitting and preparing steel
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within project timeframes
- Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working collaboratively with workshop and site teams
About you
- Has experience as a Boilermaker, Welder
- Has strong welding and fabrication skills
- Can read and understand workshop drawings
- Has a good attitude and strong work ethic
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a solid commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated industry experience
- White Card
- Current Forklift License
- Can pass a Police check
- Current driver's license
