We are a family-owned Hunter Valley business with over 39 years of history, servicing Tier 1 mining clients across the region. Our workshop is purpose-built for heavy fabrication and component rebuilds, and we are proud to be recognised for quality, capability, and reliability. With a robust pipeline of ongoing mining projects, we are growing our team.
The Role
Working within our machine shop environment, you’ll support the manufacture, repair and reclamation of precision mining components, working closely with machinists and engineers.
You’ll be involved in
- Precision fabrication and weld preparation for machined components
- Interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
- Working to tight specifications to support machining processes
- Welding to high-quality standards
- Maintaining dimensional accuracy and alignment
- Working to ISO 9001 quality systems
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Trade Certificate (Boilermaker)
- Experience in a machine shop or precision workshop environment
- MIG welding experience
- Sub arc experience
- Ability to pass weld qualification test to AS1554.5
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and quality
- Solid understanding of workshop safety
- Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
Desirable (but not essential):
- ID welding experience (highly desirable)
- High Risk licences (Forklift, Dogging, EWP, Working at Heights)
- Confined Space
